Older Adults Sharing In Service
The Oasis Ministry is for men and women 55 years and older who desire to work together to minister to the senior adult community in and around the church.
The Oasis Ministry is actively involved in activities that promote spiritual growth, service, and fellowship.
Oasis offers monthly recreational activities designed to meet new friends and engage in fellowship. Some of our past activities have been the Passion Play in Arkansas, Branson, Missouri trip, Senior Adult Conference in Ridgecrest, North Carolina, 55+ Conference in Bossier City, Louisiana, Alaskan Cruise, State Fair of Texas, Catfish Nights, Country Gospel Music Concerts, visiting various Museums, our annual Burger Blast, Spring Fling and Fall Fling.
The central focus of the Oasis Ministry is Bible Study. Our Senior Adults are teachers, mentors, encouragers and leaders. There are five separate Bible Study classes on Sunday morning that will equip in the journey to live a Christ-centered life.

The Oasis Ministry is actively involved in church-wide functions involving the community. The varied skills and desire to serve in such areas as the 4th of July Celebration, Fall Festival and partnering with area churches in our Heart of Hope Christmas project as well as our Homebound Ministry has given the Oasis group the opportunity to use the unique gifts that God has given them to minister to others.
