PULPIT MINISTRY - SERMON SERIES
Worship is responding to who God is. He is! Part of our worship experience includes the sermon. The sermon is not just the "talking part" that comes after the worshipful music. On the contrary, the sermon continues the experience as we unpack the written word of God so that we can get to know and be more like the Living Word Of God.
Of course, that requires something from each of us. Change. That's why we have sermons: To be changed. 2Corinthians 3:18 And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his likeness with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.
CURRENT SERMON SERIES: SUMMER PSALMS
"Thinking And Feeling With God"
It’s summer! That’s delightful! For the next few weeks we’ll be talking about “Summer Psalms” - Thinking And Feeling With God. It is our hope that we will experience relational delight both with God and with one another. We are studying the Psalms because they teach us about connecting to God, to one another, and how to live life. To do that, we have to think and feel with God. The Psalms stimulate our minds and our hearts and draw us to God. The effect is that we are changed. After all, that’s why we do what we do: To lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ!
