WOMEN'S MINISTRIES

Thank you for your interest in the Women’s Ministry at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

VISION

Earlier this year, the Lord gave the women’s ministry team the scripture Ephesians 4:2-6, which led to a theme for the ministry.  The verses read: “Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.  Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.  There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.” “One Hope” ministry was established with this goal and purpose; The women of Pleasant Hill to be made ONE in the Spirit through humbleness, gentleness, patience, love, and peace.  

BIBLE STUDY
A Beth Moore Bible Study entitled “Stepping Up ” is meeting Wednesday evenings from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM beginning September 10th.  Please call Ronda Clemons at 903-316-2406 for more information or to register.

Tuesday morning, September 2nd at 9:30 AM in the PHBC Activity Center, a new Bible study by Priscilla Shirer called "Can We Talk" will begin. Please contact Jana Symonds at 903-258-0916 for additional information.

MISSIONS
ONE HOPE ministry team is heeding the call to contribute to missions throughout the year by selecting a mission project each season.  Buckner Children & Family Services is the chosen mission project for the Fall. We are collecting craft kits for girls & model kits for boys in the foyer to be donated at the "Mary Hearts"Ladies Retreat on October 3rd & 4th.

PRAYER & PLANNING
The ONE HOPE ministry team is open to any and all ladies willing to contribute to the purpose and goal of the ministry:  The women of Pleasant Hill be made ONE in the Spirit through humbleness, gentleness, patience, love and peace. Monday, September 15th at 6PM in the church parlor has been set aside for prayer and planning.  The focus will be the "Mary Hearts" Ladies Retreat and production of the One Hope Fall Newsletter.  If you meet the previously mentioned criteria, please mark your calendars now and make plans to attend and contribute on September 15th.
