PHBC VISION STATEMENT
At Pleasant Hill, it is our desire to be a church of irresistible influence in the community as we engage in leading people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
Through God’s provision, we dream of creating a place where the Word is taught, the Spirit is alive, God is worshipped, and people find real relationships with Jesus Christ.
We are a family of imperfect people bound together by our love for Christ, looking for tangible ways to share that love with one another, our community, and the world.

Missy Zivney |
Director of Children & Young Families |
 |
Missy and her family came to PHBC in April 2005. This was in response to God’s leading, though at the time they weren’t certain of what that was. God developed in Missy a desire to lead children and their families into a vibrant walk with Christ. In November 2006, PHBC was fortunate enough to have Missy come on staff and make that passion a program.
Missy currently coordinates the children’s ministries at PHBC for children ages birth through 6th grade. She spearheads a number of programs and activities, such as KidStreet, which are geared at introducing children to Christ while equipping parents to teach throughout the week.
Missy’s husband, Chris, is a Physical Therapist and is actively involved in the children’s and student ministries, and is an active deacon. They have 4 children: Tori (11), Jordan (10), Regan (6), and Mason (4).
